Safeway Cranbrook Mall

We came in from out of town and had ordered a bunch of party trays from the deli and Simone was so lovely and helpful! Thank you for all of your help and yummy food!!

Safeway has always been good, at least here. Best produce in town as it's a much quieter store compared to Walmart or Save On, also has the best meat department in town.I've also found in my 20+ years shopping here that they have exotic foods and brands you can't find anywhere else.I find they switch things up more than other stores, but they almost always add something when they do, so it's at least worth the walk around.If they've ever taken away an item I've grown fond of, they actually brought it back more often than not. Probably out of bulk asking for it back. Not everything I like has returned over the years, but it was only items clearly not selling as much, but if you want it back, there is a chance.It also has a Starbucks inside, and the Cranbrook Mall is next door.

I recently experienced a significant invasion of privacy due to a failed procedure, and I feel compelled to bring this matter to your attention.On numerous occasions, I have encountered instances where the washroom door is either left wide open or only partially closed, rendering the key requirement ineffective. However, today's incident was particularly distressing. I entered the washroom without a key, as the door was open, only to have another individual request the key and proceed to open the door while I was using the facilities. This blatant violation of my personal space caused me immense embarrassment and distress, especially considering I am a 17-year-old individual.After the incident, I approached the customer service desk to address the violation and discuss the flawed procedure with the key system. The main issue lies in the fact that the washroom door lacks a proper hinge mechanism to close automatically to prompt a key request. This oversight greatly compromises the intended privacy and security of the facility.I kindly request that immediate action be taken to rectify this situation. It is essential that the washroom door be properly equipped to close securely when the key is requested, ensuring the privacy of individuals using the facility. This measure will not only prevent future occurrences of invasion of privacy but also promote a safe and respectful environment for all customers.I hope that my feedback will prompt a thorough review of the current process and lead to appropriate modifications. Everyone deserves to have their privacy respected, and I trust that Safeway shares this sentiment.
