Lidia's Cafe - Cranford

I was able to easily make a reservation, which is not usually the case at this restaurant. The dining room felt crowded. We waited a long time for our appetizers, which were mistakenly given to another table. We asked for a replacement appetizer, but when it arrived, it was still incorrect. We had ordered 2 meat and 1 chicken empanada, but received cheese and spinach instead. However, when our main dishes arrived, everything was delicious. This was my second visit to the restaurant and I enjoyed it both times.

The service was excellent with no rush at all. The food was delicious and reasonably priced.

I had the ropa vieja, which was very good, but my husband had ordered the paella cubana and it was missing scallops. We'll try something else next time. The waiter was excellent!

Service could of been better. Very sweet yound ladies but not enough staff. Too many tables for two people. Otherwise, great food, excellent taste.

Great for groups. Service was very good. Especially the young team ; so adorable. Food was very good. Fun evening overall.
