My husband had a massive breakfast it was so good I took photos of it, and the same in years previously, all the staff were friendly and could have a laugh with them even though they were busy, other tables joined in .
Called in for lunch had the ham egg chips absolutely beautiful the ham was a nice thickness everything was well presented and the staff were very friendly added bonus the wife is coeliac and they was plenty for her to choose from
Not the first time been to this tearoom. Cosy, country tearoom and store. Staff efficient and cheerful. Good size portions of home made food. Really good value for money. A gem to visit, before, after a walk, or just out for the afternoon.
Loved popping to the tea room for anything I had forgotten as we were staying in a nearby cottage. The best ever cakes and scones and the Ham and eggs for lunch was so so tasty and delicious coffee. The owner was a laugh a minute so you didn't mind waiting to be served if they were busy.
Had late lunch here during long walk. It was excellent with everything home made. We had cheese, ham and chutney toastie with scones jam and cream, with a pot of Yorkshire tea.. I am “gluten free” and both scone and toastie the best I’ve ever eaten. I was told that even the GF bread is home made. Really good, friendly service and seating I’m a beautiful setting outdoors or spotlessly lean traditional indoor tearoom with large windows to see the view.
