We had a devonshire tea which came with pre packaged jam, no butter and the can foaming cream. The scone was reheated and not that great. The décor was ok and I would imagine that on a lovely summers day it would be nice to sit and view the landscape.
Nice hot chips, soft drinks, snacks, can get busy so a sign that its not a bad place to go. Watch out for the birds, they like to share your hot chips.
We stopped here after wandering through the gardens and so it was quite a late lunch for us. Most things were sold out considering it was after lunch but being a Saturday in the school holidays we thought they would be well stocked. However, we enjoyed what we did have. The queue moved a little slow so maybe they were short staffed.
We bought coffees and as you can't tell how strong it will or won't be we requested a tiny cup of hot water to adjust as required. "That will be $2.50 please" 50c yes but $2.50 ? Hahahaaa! Coffee is good though.
Visited the lovely Kings Park and was in need of a drink and snack. It was a pretty normal afternoon with quite a few customers but nothing like as many as one would think from the delay in preparing two coffees. Is this the slowest barista service in WA? Too pricey and a let down.
