A place with quality food and very qualified staff

A small Piazza just around the corner from the two bigger. Totally covered with bars and restaurants, great place in the sun for a drink. Comes here every time I’m in Cremona.

I use to go to this bar long and long time ago during my school time. Today it is still remaining the same but located in the movida area, just close to the Cathedral Square with a lot of other new bars. We test a good service and good cocktail in a nice small square even the other places are more actractive for the young generation.

Another of our “good coffee” morning refuges, after fleeing from the coffee horror show in our hotel. How come almost all Italian hotels, serve horrible espresso and cappuccino? The coffee in Bar Rio was fine, as were the other drinks we had. Service was excellent and the clientele marked this out as the “happening” place to be for oldies such as us. We fitted right in with the Italian “wrinklies”. Recommended.
