I called in with my friends today as usual and the owner told us the sad news. As always, the coffee and muffins were excellent, so drop by for a farewell cafe latte.
My friends and I called in today to the Blueberry Cafe in Richmond for want of somewhere better to go after lunch. We were pleasantly surprised. We all had a caffe latte -- literally, in Italian, milk coffee. The caffe latte was frothy and pleasantly hot. We noticed some muffins, so two of us indulged. I had a mango muffin (real mango) and my friend had a blueberry muffin, also delicious. Coffee price was around average ($3.50). We decided to call in again. Service was cheerful and expeditious.
Absolutely love coming to this Cafe. The owner always makes you feel welcomed and he remembered me from last time. The chai latte is made in store and is the best chai latte I have ever tried. The breakfast is devine. I ordered the classic Benedict and what I love about this particular dish is the home made hash brown cakes and they use free range bacon and eggs. This place is a little gem. A must to try.
We stayed in Richmond for a few days so this cafe was only 3 mins walk away from us. We had lunch here and then breakfast another time. The owner is really friendly and the food and coffee is great. If I lived in Melbourne I'd be a regular here. Highly recommended.
Why did we bother going in here? Coffee took ages and then it was cold - ordered a mug but got a cup- food had very average ingredients & compared to their neighboring cafes it is just not up to scratch.
