I ordered the Guacamole and Chips to start and it had really good flavor. I ordered 2 Carne asada and 1 chorizo taco, Mexican style, they were really good. The salsa picante (hot sauce) tastes homemade and was also really good. They have have a good size menu, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. They seem to close a little earlier than other places, so make sure you check the times. Cresent City doesn't have many choices for restaurants, this one is good and reasonably priced.
First time here. Had breakfast. The food was good. Prices are reasonable. I enjoyed it. Service was iffy, but they were pretty busy. Be prepared to wave down servers if it is busy. Coffee ridiculous at $3 a cup, although they did not charge me for every cup. If the objective is to limit the amount of coffee customers drink, serve coffee in a five or six cup carafe for four or five bucks, or a dollar a cup, but $3 a cup, that's frigging ridiculous!
Such a cute, quaint little place! It's attached to a great store too! The garlic shrimp, omg. Yum! Just watch out for the pepper, it's not bad, but if you can't handle heat (apparently my 13yo isn't as heat resistant as he'd like to believe don't eat it. Last time I went, I got the chimichanga, it was a bit soggy, but get around those parts, it's ok. Although if you don't like American cheese (I personally hate it, it's NOT REAL CHEESE PEOPLE! then ask for no cheese on it. The employees are amazing, I'm just not a big fan of the food, except the shrimp.
All I ordered was excellent, but I have a special place in my heart for the al pastor Tacos! Service is always friendly and prices are very reasonable. Definitely worth a try when you're in Crescent City!
Love it great service and great for a family Mexican food
