We hosted a 90th birthday party at the Kokanee Inn on a Sunday, even though the kitchen is typically closed on that day. The owner, Jack, went out of his way to call in his staff to prepare a superb birthday supper for us. We are extremely grateful to Jack and his team for creating a wonderful evening for us. Kokanee Inn is top-notch.
We went there on the Sunday of the May long weekend and we waited an hour and a half for a simple order of a plate of hash browns, fries and eggs. We were the only ones eating outside and when I went into use...the bathroom, I saw a guy that came in awhile after us almost finished his breakfast! The waitress kept saying the kitchen was swamped, but there really weren't many people in the pub. It may have been because we were the only one's outside and they had forgotten about us. The waitress didn't seem too bothered and didn't offer to take anything off our bill (this has been my experience with other restaurants when the service is that slow).
We had a 90th birthday party at the Kokanee Inn on a Sunday when the kitchen is normally closed, but Jack the owner called in his staff to do our 90th birthday supper for us which turned out superb. Thanks to Jack and his staff...for a wonderful evening. A-1 Kokanee Inn.
We had only fish and chips in the kokane inn, it was wonderful, by far the best in the city, the fish was freshly broken, the fries hand cut, the coleslaw fresh and crispy and creamy, the portions are large. and it was delicious! I recommend this place, never had a bad meal and the prices are fair! good work!
