Cafe At Book-ish - CRICKHOWELL

Fantastic independent bookshop/cafe. So many wonderful books and small gifts.. Room downstairs is perfect for children to use their imagination and draw. Cafe sells fresh light snacks using locally sourced ingredients with friendly efficient staff. Bookish is an integral part of Crickhowell High Street.

This is a great café ideally situated within a bookstore! The ambience is nice and airy. The staff were friendly, and the service was faster than we expected, especially considering how busy it was. However, the sandwich was a bit disappointing; it was rather bland and unremarkable.

Special Valentine's Day in Crickhowell led us to a wonderful café. We were warmly welcomed by friendly and smiling staff, all of whom seemed genuinely happy to be there and to serve customers. The service was prompt, thanks to the young man working at the café. We found a cozy spot under the stairs and ordered two cappuccinos, tiffin, and lemon celestial cake. The cake was absolutely delicious, with a light crumb that left us wanting more! The coffee was excellent as well. We're looking forward to returning to try their lunch menu.
