Schulz's Fastidious Food - Croghan

Great place and recently under new ownership. Renovations will be happening for interior in the near future. Had wings as an appetizer, butter garlic. Cooked perfectly and crispy, very good. Special for day was 1000 Island Burger, this was also great and perfectly cooked. Staff was great and scenery outside with water is a nice touch. Make sure to try the ice cream after your meal!

We always have such a good experience here. Whether it's Wing Night or Sunday Brunch the food has always been good, and the service is always with a smile from the moment you walk in. The young men and women working at Schulz are fantastic. The young woman who served our meal today was new, but she did a great job even though she was busy with another table. I'm happy to see that the owners are employing the teenagers. We make it a point to stop in whenever in Croghan. The restaurant needs a face lift. Schulz 's is comfort food for me and my husband. Every time we travel north to visit my family we make it a point to stop in. The food and service is standard to the area. What we believe makes them special is their wings. They have a variety flavors, ranging from bbq to 'fire in the hole '. You can buy as many or as little as you 'd like in any flavor. The wings are large and cooked crispy without being overdone. If that 's not enough, every Saturday they have a special on wings. Oh yes, and finish with another great menu item soft serve maple ice cream!
