Simply Delicious - Crosshills

I called to order three sandwiches and was instructed to arrive at 9:45. When I got there, I had to wait an additional 15 minutes. To make matters worse, I noticed that the chef wasn't wearing any PPE—no gloves or anything. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt since the food is typically good, but the sausage was overcooked, and the eggs had a jelly-like consistency. I'm really disappointed and probably won't be returning.

I went today and had the chili nachos and a hazelnut latte, both of which were simply delicious!

We just placed our usual Saturday morning order at work, and it's clear that the new owners are trying to cut corners. The cheap sausages we received were terrible. There was no need to change what was already great—Simply Delicious has been serving quality food for years. The money you're saving now will likely end up costing you more in the long run. I usually avoid leaving reviews, but I'd rather provide feedback and give you a chance to improve than to stop coming altogether. Even the T-Cake was disappointing; there was hardly any butter on it, making it very dry. I hope this isn't an attempt to save costs as well.
