A tiny luncheonette with great food and atmosphere!
Had steak and eggs and hash browns with Italian toast bread only 12 I paid 20 this sweet old woman definitely deserved a tip food was excellent
Come to this place for authenticity, historical value, and good service. I came to visit Boston for a few days and before then I compiled a list of restaurants I wanted to go visit. Unfortunately, things didn't go how I wanted them to, so on my last day in Boston I decided to go out with my mom to see what I'd stumble into. My mom pointed this place out to me and we decided to eat here. The restaurant was out of supplies, but Anna made do with what she had and she treated us as if we were longtime friends. My mom and I greatly enjoyed the time we spent with Anna and being able to hear from a longtime Boston resident. I'm sure that there are better restaurants out there, but Sal's Lunch offers what others don't.
Nice lady behind the counter but food wasn't great. I'm not picky by any means but probably one of the least appetizing steak bombs I've ever had and I was starving. Wish I could rate higher bc the lady was so sweet but not worth the $10.
