Since the new owner took over, some prices have dropped, but the portions have shrunk as well, so it balances out. For example, the Reuben sandwich comes with just two paper-thin slices of corned beef, which isn't worth $8.99. The service was also disappointing. The new owner has a lot of work to do. Additionally, there are no homemade cakes available like there used to be.

We dined here once, and the owner personally prepares the food, which made for a wonderful experience. Be sure to check out the upstairs as well!

A contemporary twist on the traditional tea house, this spot caters to more relaxed modern tastes. It's a peaceful and enjoyable place that leaves you feeling satisfied and fulfilled.

My husband special ordered a gluten free, banana nut cake with buttercream frosting for my birthday. You can see from the picture how lovely it looked. The sides were done in a sweet basket weave pattern, too. The cake was moist and delicious sometimes a real challenge for gluten free baked goods. Fresh bananas, lots of nuts, a real treat! I will definitely order from 5th street marketplace again.
