Gambero Rosso - CROTONE

The seafood is very good. Excellent sardines and mussels as appetizers and the pasta with sardines was good and spicy. Good service and great location at the Crotone beach.

I stopped here while visiting my family in Italy. I actually remembered this place because my father would take me here as a kid. It's built on stilts and part of it stands in the Mediterranean. My kid loved it as much as I used to! That's not all. The owner is an extremely kind and accommodating person. While my parents are not, we are vegan and, even though we gave no notice, he prepared excellent food for all our needs. He served us vegetables fresh from his garden, including some amazing broccoli fritters and fresh fish for my parents.

I came with my family as a child and for a few years when I am in Crotone I stop to taste the typical dishes of the Croatian cuisine

It is a special place, with an ancient charm due to the atmosphere and the sea surrounding it. Spaghetti with simple but perfect Kroton. I'll be back for those.
