We were eating at the deli only and not the bar. Selection is a little limited, but decent choices. Prices are naturally expensive at ski, bike, hike trails at the top of a mountain. Sandwich was OK, but overall kind of a ho-hum experience.
We stopped in for a quick lunch after a hike and never anticipated 30+ minute wait times for a sandwich and chicken strips once we got through the line to order from the only staff member taking orders. The food was average but did come out hot. It became apparent that the deli is currently understaffed. Great facility but the good just didn’t match this trip. Prices are pretty steep, even for Alaska, so get the ride and dine to save about $10 per adult if also taking the tram.
Other reviews are right; coming up on close to an hour now waiting on a turkey sandwich and black bean burger. Bartender reassured another person that their food was coming soon, then went back to the bar and mocked that customer to the other bartender for complaining about having to wait 45 minutes for basic deli food. View is incredible but don’t waste your time here
Had to buy a $48 tram ticket to the top. We had an rv, there’s no rv parking anywhere. We finally made it to the top! Tram ride was beautiful. The bar is a cool vibe, the have an excellent fresh margarita. Views are amazing everywhere you look. Woman who was working the deli was kind of rude but the bartenders were great. Not many vegetarian options, black bean burger and fried pickles. Would be back for the view and the marg. I can’t imagine how cool of a spot this is in the winter
