Coco Cubano - Crows Nest

Love the atmosphere. The drinks is very good as well. But not a big fan with the food. It's very plain. Nothing special~ which is a shame tho. I was expecting something very nice

Coco Cubano is a Cuban cafe that has expanded to multiple locations in Sydney. We wanted to check it out after watching the movie "Chef", which instigated our love affair with Cubano sandwiches. If you don't know what I'm talking about, watch the movie or Google "cubano sandwich". Anyway, Jase ordered a Cubano and I opted for their signature beef nachos. Both were pretty good. I had a bite of Jase's Cubano and it was cheesy and tender, the flavours were smoky but could do with a bit more. My nachos were pretty delicious but again, there could be more flavour kick for the pulled beef. We washed it all down with a pitcher of Sangria, which was very fruity and refreshing. My food order was lost and so i waited 40 mins and when it finally came it wasnt even what i ordered! Then when i told them they didnt care. Wont be going back there!

They say they're open till 10pm on their website, but my husband and I tried to go there for drinks and dessert at 8pm, they said they were closing because they weren't busy enough. This seems unprofessional.

Our food took 45min to get served. Coffee was terrible. The food was tooo spice.. tasteless.. 3 hours after we still feel sick. It was a bad start of our day.. never coming back.
