Nice new restaurant in the area. Food had a really nice mix of aromas and ingredients. The atmosphere was calm and comfortable. Really friendly staff.

Outstanding atmosphere and vibe- easy to overlook and pass by quickly outside so there is a greater effect of walking into this sneaky spot.

Finally a little busy venue with a bit of warmth for thirsty commuters that walk up Foveaux St to Surry Hills. I could become a regular if I walked by every

A group of us went to Salty Bodega last night and ordered a feast.Entree: Chilli Garlic Prawns, Seared Scallops, Potato CroquettesMains: Paella Bravo, Chunky Salmon Bowl, Sizzling Beef, Crumbed Pork Loin Cutlet, Chilli Garlic Mussel SoupDessert: ChurrosMy personal favourite and must order is the chilli garlic prawn (very fresh and flavourful pesto), potato croquettes (has melted cheese in the middle), Paella Bravas (authentic flavours and very filling), Chunky Salmon Bowl (salmon was a tad overcooked but flavours were on point)Overall, the food was great- a bit of tex mex asian and spanish options, staff is very friendly and attentive, and amazing live music Saturday nights! We were so excited to eat that I forgot to take most of the food's pics unfortunately. They've revamped the menu and made it so much better. We will be back soon to try more of the menu, especially brunch.
