La Spezia - Croydon

Oh wow, I felt like I had been transported to Italy! What a charming place! I wish I lived just around the corner. The owner and his staff are wonderful, and the food is beautiful and surprisingly affordable! I enjoyed a delicious soup and a super fresh slice of ciabatta. The cannoli filling was fresh, a refreshing contrast to what I recently had at Bar Italia in Soho.

This charming Italian deli has a lovely ambiance. While it's more of a deli than a typical café or brunch spot, there are a few tables that can accommodate around six people. The food is outstanding, featuring fresh cold cuts and a variety of Italian cured specialties. The coffee is also excellent.
