Feedback gevenI do not recommend this restaurant at all! The staff, especially the manager, were extremely rude, unprofessional, and dismissive. I am also worried about the food quality, as my meal tasted like a microwaved dinner. It appears that this company's focus is solely on profits rather than providing genuine customer service, authentic food, and upholding their values. They all need better attitudes and training to operate a business effectively.
Horrible! How could you label your food as 'Jamaican' when it lacks flavor and is expensive? It is unacceptable and disrespectful to Caribbean cuisine. The stewed chicken was flavorless and terrible.
Worst experience wish I stayed at home and cooked. Me my partner are piecscarian so chose this restaurant as the have good selection of fish dishes. So we placed our order then about 10mins after we were told there no fish left so that a very limited choice. As i already having chick pea starter I dont eat tinned ackee. They did have a sweet chill fish so I opted for that. Any way the food so the sweet chill fish was tougher than rock stone. THE RICE PEAS WAS NOT COOKED HARD RICE UNCOOKED PEAS. THE FEASTBALL TASTE SPOIL LIKE THE OIL NEED CLEAN. I really learn my lesson and realise I this is the 3rd final time I ever come here the first 2 times I think I was blind drunk because I had to wait so long to get my food. This time I never drink so tastes the fact the food is not all good at all. Now I see why the universe didn't want me come to this place as the restaurant (the camberwell brunch) ruined my daughter birthday meal by closing early with warning us. I should have never even attempted to come back to this establishment. Poor customer service, poor food do many nicer places i should spend my money.
Terrible rude service waited 40 minutes for drinks order had to call staff over to order main meal after waiting then given the bill when we weren’t even given the option to order a dessert One waitress was nice and understanding too good for that place Other staff and the manager obviously didn’t know what they were doing
In store, Bought paid for the boneless mutton curry to takeaway. It was an hour or two before closing. We was told the takeaway would be ready in 45 mins so we popped up the road until it was ready. Upon our return we collected the takeaway and headed back out to our destination. As we were preparing to eat to our disappointment disbelief the boneless mutton dish was full of bones at the cost of £17.50. I had recommended this dish to my friend so it was very uncomfortable to see that the dish was nothing like what the dutchie's promised it'd be (boneless) because I recommended it. I though maybe it had been a mistake so we drove back to the restaurant to get a replacement, this is where it took a turn for the worse. When we knocked on the door the server hid and pretended not to see us or hear us knocking the door. We had to keep knocking until a manager came out and opened the door. We explained what had happened he let us in to get the order corrected. However the chef was very unprofessional got rather nasty towards us. The replacement order was full of curry liquid with a few pieces of curry mutton swimming in container. It took 5 minutes to get a replacement so it wasn't fresh food. Upon leaving the chef management made such rude undignified comments towards me my friend (who's first time it was in this restaurant) as we made our way out of the establishment. We left feeling humiliated, hurt traumatised. It was the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant we couldn't bring ourselves to eat the food because we just didn't trust the dutchie staff anymore.
