Great value for money, generous portions nicely cooked and not dripping in fat. The bacon was the tastiest I’ve had for a while. The staff are also very friendly. Travelling more these days to follow my local football team, I’m always on the lookout for decent cafes, and as we have to go to that area several times over the current season, we will definitely be returning.
Friendly owners, good solid food, love the all day breakfasts.
Now here is s great little, very basic, quaint little hideaway in plain sight directly sat at the side of the main road. It's outside looks can deceive the humble cozey atmosphere within. It provideas a great stop off ahead of a long journey or a quick bite for family and friends on a road trip or just that quick lunch on the way. There is plenty of seating but beware it can get somewhat crowded during lunch times. The menu boasts of various traditional English breakfasts which will most certainly leave anyone filled at a reasonable price. There is a small outhouse style toilet at the outside of the premises which could get a bit nippy during colder months of the year. All in all it's a great little place to visit if you should pass by, give it a try.
Thoroughly enjoyed the Monty (not full) at.... About 11:50.
