Had the taste for pizza. This place on a search engine reviews it as one of the top pizzas in Virginia. There is no possibility that they have received such an assessment from that we have served with. Not even close! Shown generous toppings. 16 Classic, had two to three pepperoni per slice, could hardly find the mushrooms and we had added bacon that was quite unavailable. $42 with two sweet teas in a plastic cup. We had much better off the pizza hat for $10. And they have brown paper plates to cut and eat pizza.
Great place, very nice atmosphere, friendly and quick service, good pizza and many different beers from local breweries.
We recently went here for the first time on decades of call. After ordering a 12 pizza the bartender recommended, we had a pleasant conversation on the terrace. One hour and a half later (40 minutes originally estimated) after we saw a table sitting after us to get their meals, we were served. I wish I could recommend this beautiful place based on the previous call. The special? Pizza was on average the crust somewhat above the average. There was little hospitality. Hopefully, the takeout staff strives for future customers. Long story short, Dr. Ho?s is still head and shoulders above the competition in every respect. The Loretta Lynn Poster was the best part of my experience, after the big conversation with my party. That said: Peace and love!
Rated a top pizza restaurant in Virginia by Food and Wine Magazine, I've been stopping at Crozet Pizza for over a decade. I appreciate their healthy selections and laid-back style. Gluten-free, plenty of toppings to choose from, local beer--it's got it all. PLEASE try the brussels sprouts!
