We visited Ancolie last night and had an enjoyable time. The restaurant is very nice and we were able to eat on the terrace overlooking the Lac de Dronieres on a beautiful summer evening where the sun set late and the temperatures were in the comfortable mid to low Although we had a nice time, I must admit that the food was not spectacular and the service was on and off. Regarding the food, in our party, we tried three appetizers, three main dishes, and three desserts. Overall, some of the dishes were good, but many, we found a bit bland. We felt that the chef spent a bit too much time on texture (many gels/gelatin) and not enough on taste.
