Tommy's Red Hots - Crystal Lake

Philly sandwich I asked for no peppers or onions on two of the four sandwiches I ordered. Specifically said just cheese and mushrooms. They held peppers but not onions. Also it used to be a ribeye steak and today was shredded beef. What is the deal,Tommy's? I'm not asking much for the sixty plus bucks I spent, am I ?

Absolutely disgusting place. RT 31, RT 14, AND RT 176. My guess is they are owned by same people. Fries are ALWAYS cold. Sandwiches come with items required or items ordered. These workers just do care

First time stopping in and Wow! Plenty of food choices on there menu. Staff and owner very pleasant! Daily specials. Busy place with customers with minimum wait time. Will be back. My gyros sandwich was big with plenty of sauce and onions!!! Must try ifyour in the neighborhood!!!!

2 dogs fries and soda were good. My daughter's burger was burnt and dry! She ate the 2nd dog

Tommy's makes food that tastes okay and is made fresh however for first timers who look at the high rating and don't deeply research prices, there can be significant sticker shock. The prices are not listed on the menu at the shop so it was quite asurprise when lunch for my family of 5 was over $60. At Culver's it would have been below $40. So if you want a fun dinerishdining experience, go here but be willing to overpay for the food. $15 for a 1/3 lbs hamburger meal seems over market.
