Bistro Mosaico - Cuauhtémoc

The place is super cozy to hang with friends. I went with a girlfriend, we drank clericot which was yummy and we had the tomato soup and the onion soup, both were by far some of the best I've tried!

A cute place to go for a glass of wine with friends! The atmosphere was fantastic but I really was expecting more about it. Anyways, the bistro is a good place with live music from an old man playing the accordion! I also heard some good tangos

Fianally we review this place after having eaten here often during the last dozen years. The food, the service and the ambience has not dropped in spite of the tough competition throughout Mexico City. It keeps serving the best onion soup in town and an added feature is the free "descorche", so you can purchase the most expensive wine at a liquor store, bring it with you and enjoy it with the best matching dish according to everyone's personal taste, without additional charge, nor the high price you would have otherwise paid. This alone, makes it a great place where you can enjoy your favourite and expensive wines. They also have great dishes, chees, pastries and fine take-home food. This bistrot is excellent for business lunch and/or family dinning.

I'm sorry to say it but in my personal scale of values, this is a fake-food restaurant ... beware !!! see how your senses are tricked ... the place is nice, the decorations are cool, the style and the atmosphere look great ... the menu is fine and the dishes offered are original and tasty ... but ... try to ask for a change in any dish and you will be surprised for their negative answers ... a totally uncommon thing in Mexico, a country well-known for "the client is always right" mantra and where you can order virtually any sort of changes to your dishes ... the reason behind Mosaico's negatives is simple: apparently the food is fake ... it is not freshly prepared at the restaurant you're visiting but it is pre-fabricated at a distant "factory" that sends them to the different restaurants this chain owns ... very nicely dressed, but the substance below could be not your nicest surprise ... if you don't care about eating fresh food, well, maybe in this case the restaurant is an excellent option ... not my kind of place ... yet it is very successful ... indeed the dishes are tasty, but freshness is not the strongest point of this place ... beware ...

Great food,service.they change the menu around ,its as in france, written in a blackboard.not easy to park though.there a fine selection pre cooked item to take out.
