Bistro Mosaico - Cuauhtémoc

The place is super cozy to hang with friends. I went with a girlfriend, we drank clericot which was yummy and we had the tomato soup and the onion soup, both were by far some of the best I've tried!

A cute place to go for a glass of wine with friends! The atmosphere was fantastic but I really was expecting more about it. Anyways, the bistro is a good place with live music from an old man playing the accordion! I also heard some good tangos

Fianally we review this place after having eaten here often during the last dozen years. The food, the service and the ambience has not dropped in spite of the tough competition throughout Mexico City. It keeps serving the best onion soup in town and an added feature is the free "descorche", so you can purchase the most expensive wine at a liquor store, bring it with you and enjoy it with the best matching dish according to everyone's personal taste, without additional charge, nor the high price you would have otherwise paid. This alone, makes it a great place where you can enjoy your favourite and expensive wines. They also have great dishes, chees, pastries and fine take-home food. This bistrot is excellent for business lunch and/or family dinning.

Great food,service.they change the menu around ,its as in france, written in a blackboard.not easy to park though.there a fine selection pre cooked item to take out.

Walked by in the afternoon and the restaurant looked appealing so went back for dinner around 7 PM (Friday). As mentioned the interior is homey, comfortable seating with background music at a low level. Service was good (in English to were the menus when requested). House bread was tasty. Ordered the Onion soup and the Creamy tomato soup. The onion had nice flavoured onions and broth but was overwhelmed by too much gouda cheese. The tomato was very tasty except for the abundant pieces of gouda cheese. For mains we had the Pollo Salsa Mostaza. Chicken leg and thigh in a mustard sauce. It was enjoyable for flavour and quantity. The second order was the beef filet in chefs sauce. The meet was tender but weak on flavour, the pesto style sauce was not a good compliment. Service was good, linen service nice, washrooms clean, credit cards accepted.
