The sopa de lima was fantastic. Thoroughly enjoyed the cochinita pibil torta as well. Great flavors and friendly staff.
We had the Sopa de Lima, a Taco de Cochinita Pibil, a Papadzules and a coco-milk dessert which name I forgot. We also added the Agua de Horchata and Agua de Guanabana. While the Taco was good and the Papadzules was absolutely amazing (though both were so heavy that we could eat only one each), the soup was a bit too sour for my taste. Nethertheless a really interesting flavour, that we didn't find anywhere else. The Aguas were horrible due to the loads of sugar added and the dessert quite blunt. So if you're only coming for a classic quick lunch or dinner, that's a total recommendation. Sit on the terrace, in the back, where there are less people and the music is not very loud and you'll enjoy great food for affordable prices.
Yucatan-style restaurant. they have to keep their eyes peeled to see the sign and then they go on a couple of flights kicking. the restaurant is humble an old fashion. the service is good, and eating the main reason to go. there is excellent. not a huge menu, but look around what is with players for some ideas about what is good. the tacos and the lime soup are very good, and the limonade is refreshing. highly recommended!
I discovered this restaurant about two years ago, and now every time I am in df, I make sure to work in a lunch or dinner. I am a gringa, so no expert for Yucatan style to eat, but if they like cochinita pibil Grill...pork,) they will love this place. it is about 2 and 1/2 flights, so they will not be discouraged on the way up, the ascent is definitely worth it! I usually get the tacos, but according to the size of the amount, I bet everything is delicious.
