El Rey Del Pavo - Cuauhtémoc

I lived in Mexico City for many years, and have had many meals at this establishment, which has moved several times, but always in the core Historic Center. This is a typical "antojitos" (little cravings) joint. The specialty here are the turkey tacos in soft corn tortillas, the quesadillas sincronizadas, and the small "tortas de jamon" (ham in a grilled portugues-like roll). The blaring music was annoying on my last visit, but the staff were helpful in lowering the volume).

This family run establishment offers great meals and quick service. The friendly manager assisted us with recommendations an spoke perfect English. I never knew turkey could be so interesting. A lovely portion of very spicy pickles accompanies each meal. Very well priced. The Sangria was just what i needed on a hot day!

Simplemente lo mejor de lo mejor. Me encanta. Exquisito. Mis hijos también lo disfrutan, al igual que yo lo disfrutaba con mi padre.

La comida es deliciosa, ¡recomiendo las tortas de pavo y bacalao!
