Sanborn's Cafe - Cuauhtémoc

I was looking for something international but everything here was very mexican so I couldn’t find anything to eat but a taco with pork. Our server was somewhat patient but you could tell she wanted to kill us. Prices a bit high .. wouldn’t go back

So my Spanish is not excellent and the servant's English was non-existent but with patience and an mediator I was able to order. The servant was great, really wish i knew her name as she took the time to understand what I wanted and I listened keenly to catch the words and explanation. My waitress made my visit a delight and she took care of my needs. the food was not as splendid as the service. had fish with mashed potato and vegetables then washed it down with a restaurant fruit juice. Thought it was pricey. the restaurant is spacious and lots of seat options for business, family or a solo visit.

I could not stand the noisiness of the restaurants associated with my hotel (Krystal Grand Reforma Uno Mexico City), so I ventured out at dinner and stumbled on Sanborn's. I was not disappointed. Cheery, friendly service, good food, clean, inexpensive, and the music was tasteful and not played too loudly. What more can one ask for?

The server I had was rude. Food is nothing to rave about and over priced. I think the street food is much better. Tried this place because of the reviews. Definitely will not be going back.
