WE stop there every Sunday and get 2 6 inch pizzas at the fuel island store. Been doing this for about 5 yrs now. All the staff are very accommodating and friendly. Its our favorite place to get a delicious pizza for one, and take our 30 min break. WE feel like we are visiting old friends each sunday we stop in. Most of the staff at the fuel island store are youngins compared to us but they keep the place clean, and are very professional. Michael, Mikala and the others are well trained and take care of all the drivers.

One of my favorite places to stop. Great food and everyone there is very nice and professional. I pulled in yesterday to get some good food but as I pulled in I noticed you didnt have a United States flag flying. I looked across the road and I could see 3 flying at other businesses. One of them is the Super8. I dont know for a fact but I am fairly certain that place is foreign owned. Why can a foreign owned business fly one and not a American owned business. As a vetern I decided to not do business with you. I really hope you will make it happen to fly our countrys flag. I would really love to do business with you again. I hope to see you soon.

The truck stop is fantastic, but Dottie Diner is a disappointment. They close the buffet at 8 PM, which coincides with the end of many truckers' shifts. After that, you’re forced to order from the menu. I ended up with a double cheeseburger and fries, which cost $18 each. Adding an extra slice of cheese was an additional 99 cents, and an extra patty to make it a double was $2.99. Honestly, I would prefer fast food over this diner any day.

This place has terrible service in the mechanics department. It’s awful—they are incredibly slow.

Goodbye to the Midwest Travel Plaza as we remember it. TravelCenters of America has just taken over.
