La Princesa Bakery - Cudahy

I highly recommend this restaurant! I would rate it a perfect 10 out of 10. The cakes and bread are exceptional, and everything tastes absolutely delicious.

I went to buy tamales early in the morning and asked for two pork and two cheese. The person behind the counter told me they didn't have cheese, so I requested two pork instead. When I got home, I discovered I had received two cheese tamales. Didn't she say they were out of pork? I've been a customer there for over 15 years and I've noticed a change since the ownership switched last year. The staff has become rude, lacking any greeting or apology, and they all seem unfriendly and unwelcoming, never smiling at customers. I won't be returning, especially since the tamales are small for the price and not as good as they used to be.

I love their pastries! The customer service is excellent—everyone is always so cheerful.

La Princesa Bakery may not be upscale, but if you're a fan of Mexican pastries like pan dulce and bolillos, their selection is quite impressive.

My dad always chooses the bread, and if there's a wait, it’s never too long.
