The Texaco Fillin' Station - Cullman

A friend and I stopped by for lunch after hearing about this place from a friend who lives in Gardendale, AL. I had the taco salad, which was quite tasty. My friend ordered meatloaf along with two sides (one was loaded potato salad), but I can't recall the second side. He thought it was good, but not exceptionally so. We plan to return when the weather cools down, bringing our senior group with us for another visit. Since we'll be a larger group of about 20, we’ve been asked to give at least 24 hours' notice so they can prepare for us. Just a thumbs up from me! - Mark

This is a really sweet and unique place! Food is freshly cooked and ordered and with a large southern smile! Stop for cold drinks from cooler and quick treats! Do not miss the newly added “Oil Bay” with cozy stands and player piano! Don't miss your chance to kiss the moose or ring the Elkenhorn.... Biggest game shows this side of the mountain! Don't miss the Fillin Station!

I can not say enough good stuff about The Fillin Station. The shepard's pie is awesome. The Smash cheeseburger is the bomb. Ms. Pam goes over and beyond the call of duty to take care of her customers. I even herd she takes a special delivery to a veteran every day. Now that's a special person. Good food Good people!!

Made my day! Thanksgiving Thursday! (Turkey and dressing just like at my Grandmother's) A real meat and three treat A must do stop if you are traveling from Birmingham to Huntsville. Make plans for lunch at the Fillin' Station. It will make your day too!
