Super friendly service, our waitress was very sweet the food was amazing, you can tell everything is fresh with quality ingredients, left happy with full tummies!

Went there for the very first time. Walk in people just look at us, no body greeted, finally a rude waitress come and tell us we can seat wherever we want. I order a horchata and ask her if it’s mexican or salvadorian horchata, her reply: It’s a mexican restaurant so it’s mexican she said it with a sarcastic, nasty attitude … it’s a rude response since its my first time there, beside that the menu stated mexican, salvadorian an honduras food. We just walk out, she should learn some manners to treat costumers.

I absolutely hate dinging small local businesses, but this spot was a disappointment.Stopped in a few months ago for a late lunch probably between 2 3 p.m. found the entire staff eating lunch. No problem there, they were very friendly interrupted their repast to put in our order of a few chicken tacos to go $3 each). I asked for my tacos with everything ; husband ordered his with no onions .Took about 20+ minutes, so we wandered around the space which looked to be under renovation as they seemed to be putting in an adjoining bakery. They did have a bakery case, but none of the offerings were labeled or priced, frankly did not look fresh, so we didn 't bother with any of that.Took our tacos home really were disappointed. Yes, the tortillas were fresh, but the amount of chicken a bit overcooked) was stingy my everything tacos consisted of chopped onions cilantro. No cheese, no tomatoes, no sauce, no nothing else. Husband 's no onions tacos had NOTHING. Not only no onions , but no nothing. Just the overcooked chicken in dry tortillas.Sorry folks, but La Chiapeneca serves up 100% better tacos than this place.

Awesome!!!! Wow what a great little place! I had tacos and enjoyed the salsa bar! Off the beaten tracked but, well worth it!

Three generations in the kitchen at this family-run restaurant. Friendly service and food was ready quickly.
