Sweet Roux - Culpeper

The fries were awesome, and the med sandwich was so good. Pick-up was easy, and the parking lot across the street has a few picnic tables which was nice for hanging out with our dog while we ate. I?ll definitely keep this spot in mind whenever I?m passing through Culpeper around lunchtime!

Had a 40 person rehearsal dinner here and the staff was extremely accommodating and responsive with creating a personalized menu. Great service, and everyone had a wonderful time. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Was a surprise 65th birthday gathering that was made in advance and there was not enough staff for the reservation of 16 guest. Complained to Matt the manager and he agreed that it was not properly handled and with this admission of guilt he didn't do anything to rectify the situation. Food was served in plastic baskets with wax paper, like a fast food joint. When cake came out to be served there was China for the cake. The name is misleading does not fit food or service. Matt refused to let waitstaff fill pitchers of non-alcoholic beverages to refill drinks. Had he done so then the refills would had been timely and no one at my table would had to wait for up to ten minutes for a refill. Wheelchair accessibility: Street parking only.

I ordered chicken and waffles, and they were cooked to perfection. The drinks were fantastic, and the service was excellent. The restaurant is relatively new, so the decor and layout are a bit minimal, but considering they started during COVID and have managed to succeed, I highly recommend giving them a try!
