However, when they make it fresh, it’s incredibly delicious! The staff is friendly, and the cooks are fantastic. It’s a great option for some healthier Mediterranean food. While I wouldn’t call it “authentic,” it’s a solid choice if you’re in the mood for Mediterranean while also watching your intake. The prices are reasonable for the veggie or chicken dishes, but they can get a little higher for beef or lamb (which is understandable). The grape leaves may be smaller than average, but they are packed with flavor. I also love that they have pickled radishes at the condiment bar, allowing you to take as many as you want. You know what? I’ll bump my rating up to 5 stars just for that! It definitely makes up for the occasional dry falafel.
This place is fantastic! I hadn’t visited in a couple of years, and I believe they’ve added the Chicken Sharma to the menu since my last visit. I didn’t pay much attention to the menu, but I decided to give it a try. I was surprised to find out that it’s soy-based; I had initially thought it was interesting that a restaurant I previously considered vegan was serving chicken.
Rating: 4.5 stars. The food here is healthy and incredibly tasty. The location on Washington Blvd and La Cienega is situated in Culver City's Arts District, home to some of the best art galleries in Los Angeles. It's also conveniently close to the Helms District and Sony movie studios. I highly recommend the lamb plate with hummus, rice, and salad—it's absolutely delicious!
