Rising Hearts Bakery - Culver City

I appreciate this bakery but the cupcakes were so heavy. I don't know what flour they use but it should not be that heavy. I have had many gluten free cakes but none this heavy. They should rethink their recipe or the flour to make it lighter, add some pudding or something. They could probably make 2-3 cupcakes out of that one. I even thawed it out and took the icing off to see, but it was the cake itself. The taste was ok. I am a baker.

Absolutely yummy! I bought three carrot whoopies, the blueberry scones and the kitchen sink cookies or something like that. I was not disappointed. I have five different allergies unfortunately so I was happy when I found this place. Unfortunately I don’t live in California

The banana pudding. Looks like a random collection of deserts thrown together in an unspecified order to create something that tastes amazing. It's a senses twister because it's not the most attractive of deserts but it really has incredible flavour. Cupcakes are pretty good too.

OMG these fruit tarts are delicious, I love this bakery, it never disappoints!!! My friends always ask for their desserts when we're having a dinner party. Thank God for them because I can't bake anything. Can't wait to come back.

We are big fans of their bagels! Safe for celiac and severe allergies! We drive an hour just to get their bread. Highly recommend. Only place local I can purchase follow your hearts gf wraps (which are the best in my opinion).
