Tangaroa Fish Market Raw - Culver City

One of the best lobster rolls I've had here in LA, the mussels in white wine were delicious. Could dink that sauce by the spoonful.Food: 5/5

The grilled octopus as a dish begs for improvement.The octopus itself was fine. It's served along with some salad and mayo ish sauce with squid ink ? .The salad was very acidic. I couldn't finish it. Maybe, too much vinegar was added to the dressing.Upon pointing this out to the waitress, she said I was supposed to mix it on the plate.I never found out what to mix it with the black sauce?The latter is smeared all over the plate, and covering herbs and veggies with it would make them look unappetizing.

I recently discovered this seafood restaurant in Culver City, and it immediately became one of my favorites. The food here is amazing in both taste and quality. I've had the chance to try their whole fish of the day (fried) and fish and chips on different occasions, and both plates were incredible. The fish tastes fresh and is especially flaky. Their edamame salad is also extremely tasty and is a must-get everytime I go. There is ample outdoor seating during lunch on the weekends, and their service is incredibly friendly. They're a bit on the pricier side, but the quality of food and great service is definitely worth it.

We had some Happy Hour small plates and the fish tacos. They have a few beers and some wine. They only have outdoor seating but do have heaters. Enjoyed the bacon wrapped shrimp.Food: 5/5
