The restaurant has recently made some changes to their layout and we are looking forward to enjoying the warm weather on their terrace. We love the live music and often receive complimentary tastings of new cocktails, which pair perfectly with their generous margaritas. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, making my son and his friends feel at home as they dance around. We have even made new friends at El Rio, which is important when moving to a new area without existing connections. It's refreshing to find a restaurant that embraces children instead of treating them as an afterthought. The regular patrons we see make it clear that El Rio is a special place that we want to keep to ourselves, but the atmosphere, people, drinks, food, and live music make it impossible not to share with others. Our Friday evenings at El Rio are always a great way to end the week.
I have dined at this restaurant many times and have never had a negative experience. The staff is very friendly and provides prompt service.
