Feedback gevenI'm a big fan of Jimmy John's, but during my visit today, I encountered an issue. When I ordered my sandwich, I forgot to specify that I didn't want tomato and lettuce on it, so the employee started adding them right away. I politely asked him to remove them from my sandwich. Although I didn't expect him to make a whole new one with fresh bread, I was disappointed when he just half-heartedly wiped them off, acting like it was a bother to him. There were also a couple of younger staff members who seemed annoyed. It's a pretty straightforward job, and attention to detail is what makes Jimmy John's successful. That's why I am willing to pay their prices in the first place. It's important to remember the mission statement and the little things that contribute to the overall experience.
I would definitely give this restaurant a perfect 10/10 for lunch—I'd eat here every day if I could! The food is always incredibly fresh and served quickly. The staff is wonderful, and the general manager is charming, which makes the experience even better.
The sandwich was tasty, and the staff were polite. Plus, if you happen to visit the restroom, you can read about Uranus (seriously)! While it's a typical franchise sandwich shop with the same menu as all the others, the owners clearly prioritize cleanliness, friendliness, and the quality of their food!
The bread was overcooked, resulting in a dry and crusty exterior. Soft, fresh bread is essential for a great sandwich. I really wish Jimmy John's would package their baked sub rolls in plastic bags like Blimpie used to do to keep them softer. If they did that, they would easily outshine all other sub chains!
The service wasn't quite the "freaky fast" experience you typically expect from a Jimmy John's, but it was still quite good!
