It was a chilly day outside but the patio was heated enough to be comfortable without being too hot. I had the Cuban sandwich, but we also got French toast, the Egg Benedict Sandwich, and the croissant that had egg, brie, and strawberries. The portions were nice--moderate size. It is definitely on our brunch list for the future.
My DD and I stopped in here for a quick bite at about 1pm on a Friday afternoon. I was surprised how busy they were. The service was great and quick. Nido has really really croissant, bacon, egg and cheese sandwiches. Even my extremely picky DD enjoyed it. The coffee and double chocolate chip muffins were to die for too. We will be back again.
It’s so Nido!!! Lol. But seriously, Nido Cafe is great! My girlfriends and I came for Sunday brunch. The atmosphere and ambiance is perfect. They have an outdoor area as well, a couple of them, actually. One was a cute little couch area on a patio that looked quite cozy. This place is so stinkin cute and inviting!! We all had a mimosa, and enjoyed them. I had the Traditional Cuban Sandwich and it was very tasty, even had some burnt crispy cheese on the very edge, which I LOOOVE!! I do wish it came with a side though, really wanted a small side of their Nido Salad. One friend had the bacon, egg and cheese croissant, another had the steak burrito and I don’t remember what the other had but they all were happy with their meals, too! I also just realized that they have a Honey Lavender Cafe Nido and I am now I’m mad at myself for not getting that! Ha. Guess I definitely have to go back now, even though it’s more than a hour from my house!! Haha. It’s that good! Quick sidebar I love that they have plenty of alcohol options, but they’re not even open for dinner (they close at 5). Haha. Totally in for day drinking! Love this spot, Nido Owners/Creators!
Great food. Great taste. It's delicious. It was our first time, and we were happy. Half we drove was worth it.
Edit: many thanks for their answer. I appreciate her offer. it would be good to warn customers about it, re: the matcha. because it is very different than most barista made matcha lattes. that would most likely manage expectations. that is strictly for the coffee-bar, takeaway. a matcha-Latte ordered. tastes like unsweet dirty grass water. I had many matcha-Lattes in my life and never had something similar. uoof. also could drink coffee to go, America was the only option. I'm not sadly back. I took a picture after pouring out and it was super gritty at the floor.
