Home made 200gm patty with all the trimmings. They don't as yet have a liquor license but you can bring your own. Definitely a place to support.
The staff and owner are very friendly and helpful! The food is great! The atmosphere is great! Their is plenty of parking! When I went there, they unfortunately did not have a liquor license yet, they are in the process of getting one. On the note above, they are perfectly positioned, if you arrive before 17:00 you can go to Tops and buy wine from there before you go to the Black Olive.
The new premises is a marked improvement with sufficient indoor and outdoor dining. The atmosphere is fantastic.
Took my 2 older cousins there for lunch on Sunday We all had the Carvery ,which was a very nice meal . Just be aware that they do not have a liquor license but the bottle store is right next door. all in all ,a pleasant venue.
Fantastic food and good atmosphere and service. (For old premises) Luckily the good food, friendly service and homely atmosphere moved along to the new premises. The new ptemises is way better than the last one, especially theample parking space. The food I ordered was coocked to my liking and extremely tasty. The servers were friendly and very helpful and the owner/chef also came round to the table to make sure we were satisfied with the food. Will definitely come back here in future!
