Chifa Capon - Cusco

Was on holiday in Peru and tried this restaurant. there was a language barrier, but still I could order. the portions were for individual but 2-3 people could have enjoyed easily.

Great food, we had 6 person menu for 10 people, more than enough and everything tastes great! Beer however was frozen. Service was ok. Terrible bathrooms, dirty and toilet seat was broken

Spent over 900 soles on a prearranged catered take away lunch here. I have to admit that the service was somewhat unprofessional from the beginning, but we trusted Capon due to having dined there in the past. While we were about to pay, the girl at the cash register told us that she had made a mistake on the original price she had quoted us and that it would be 14 soles more. That was of course a complete surprise, so we mentioned that the budget had already been approved and we had come with the exact amount in hand. We were firm about it, and thankfully she didn't press the issue any further. Strangely, she immediately printed a detailed receipt showing the correct amount. We're still not sure if she was just trying to pad her pockets, but we can only wonder based on what happened. The food was very good, though expensive. That combined with the indifferent service encourages us to look elsewhere for chifa.
