Maybe if the pisco was made in a kind of reduction sauce, it would have worked better to burn most alcohol taste from the pisco. other than that, everything was great, and if anything, even if they find the food medium, the look alone is worth the bill.
One of the best meals we had in cusco. the mushroom soup was from this world, scallops melted in my mouth with a hauch of an Asian dressing (although more acid could have used) and a perfectly boiled black ink paste with butter soft garnels in a white coconut-based sauce.
Amazing restaurant in cusco, one must. this restaurant has everything, good food, good service and great facility in the heart of the city. we had to start trout avocado tiradito and alpaca carpaccio, then we order noquis with a butter sauce and alpaca filet.
I don’t know why in our google searches, this place didn’t show up. A local friend brought us here and it’s a hidden gem! After a month in Cusco we’re sad we didn’t find this place until a few days before our departure. Highly highly recommended!
We were disappointed as we expected to be at one of the the best restaurants in town. Duck breast was tough, salmon was raw. Both dishes were so small that we went to another restaurant afterwards to get full. Prices indicate a superior quality which we didn’t find at all.
