Faustina - Cusco

Fui a la hora de almuerzo hoy, sin reserva y tuvimos suerte, el ambiente precioso, la atención buenísima , por desgracia estábamos apuradas y el servicio nos ayudó a que todo saliera rápido, lo ideal es ir con tiempo y disfrutar de la comida y del lugar. Pedí un ceviche de trucha Insuperable!!Y una ensalada de verdes con quinoa y manzanas exquisita!! Merece felicitaciones!

Comida deliciosa, se nota que cocinan con mucho cuidado y delicadeza, cada plato tiene un detalle especial, una experiencia que uno no debe perder si está en Cusco, además está dentro de un espacio cultural llamado LA RICA CHICHA, un patio muy acogedor, la atención es A1.

Cenar en Faustina es un viaje a la cultura y los ancestros de la abuela de la cocinera. Cada producto es servido con delicadeza y compromiso por un pasado que desean compartir y transmitir: jerónimo de chicha, pancitos de papa y maca y el sorbete de papa amarilla con muña son ejemplos de ello. Pedimos una sopa riquísima y Cuy, exquisito!

The service is the best we have ever had, and the food is so good. We returned for lunch after having a superb dinner and tried the Ceviche....exquisite! On both visits Alonso, our server, described where the ingredients were sourced, what their cultural significance was, and was just a delight to talk to (in English) . It's a bit hard to find but well worth the effort!

Casa Faustina is probably the best food and drink option in Cusco for me now and in the future. I went in with a group seven weeks into their operation and what i saw is more than promising. Great food, stellar service and a place that mirrors the food in beauty. How often do yoh think you get the chance to eat with original Alpaco silverware from the UK anywhere in the world? And on british china ware nonetheless. You are touching over 50 years of history before you eat food with 500 years of heritage. Quite impressive. My new to go spot in Cusco
