I wish I knew the name or what was in it so I could try. I live and work nearby and in NYC where we have some of the best food in the world. I've never had a better sandwich in my life. I can't talk for the other things in the restaurant, but my 5 stars are for the sandwich. The staff was helpful and nice. It's not a nice place, but I'd go back in a heartbeat.
I think this is an Argentinean restaurant. This restaurant was next to our hotel and we ended up eating there three times in last week of May, 2016. First time I had a salad and it was great. Second time my wife had a soup and it was just so so. Finally we had dinner there on Sunday, May 29, 2016. It appears that all shops closed very early on Sundays in Cusco. Most restaurants were closed by 7:30pm and this one was open and went in. We had pan fried trout and quinoa soup. It was just OK. The reataurant is neither bad or good. The best thing in this restaurant is the green hot sauce with starter bread.
We were here for one hour. In that time we got two entrees and no drinks (we had ordered three drinks). Extremely under staffed so they couldn't have gotten our drinks even if they had happened to remember. They seem to run out of the basics here like bottled water and potato. Be aware that the English translation of the menu is very incorrect and the chef doesn't follow the menu very closely either so you possibly will get what you ordered with missing and substituted ingredients. Not sure on quality of food either. Has very funny tummy the next morning. Just don't go here. There are SO many great places around Cusco to eat and you don't need this kind of experience anywhere.
We went to Cusco with a group of friends and stopped here several times. Almost everything we ordered was good. The service was extremely slow but friendly folks.
