Denial South Dakota - Custer

The food was great and the owner was very nice. We will definitely make this a permanent stop on our annual trip to Custer.

Beer choices were good and the owner was very pleasant and friendly. The place was really neat.

Denial is a great place for a casual drink (or more) on the beautifully decorated and comfortable terrace or in the cozy casual indoor seating. The beverage menu consists of a variety of local and non-local wines, beer and fun wine mixed drinks. The menu consists of lighter fair (although you will NOT get hungry) like a few different charcuterie boards as well as a soup. If desert is more your cup of tea, they also serve desert tasting boards. There is a small shop on the front of the tasting room, which offers free oil and balsamico tasting, as well as the sale of cheeses, gifts and of course... Wine on the bottle! If you are looking for a relaxed place to enjoy live soft music on the terrace, or a few drinks inside to beat the heat, Denial is a must to visit! Dogs are welcome to also enjoy the shaded terrace. Water bowls and biscuits are available outside!

The food was great. Had the chill in the bread bowl that met the place. Fun spot and took some unique gifts for the family home.
