Jason's Deli - Cypress

Grilled cheese and tomato soup was not good. Ordered it for pickup to go and got there on time yet service took a while. The cheese basically melted//dissolved in the sandwich so was minimal. Tomato soup flavor was okay but is very chunky which I don't prefer and didn't know. Wouldn't get those items again, may try something else but prices are steep for a sandwich shop.

Would eat at this location pretty frequently. I’ve been noticing that the sandwiches just weren’t as good lately. And for the price, that’s off putting. This last time. My son stopped me from eating and showed me this CLEAR CLEAR thick gel that was all over his sandwich. And I mean all over it. Then I looked at mine and the same thing, I immediately spit my food out. It wasn’t normal seeing that on food I’m eating. I called up and the manager was very nice. She waited for the picture and then called me over and over until I picked up. I was in a meeting so it took a couple calls. I answered and she immediately apologized and said they were refunding the entire meal. I asked what that clear gel was and she said that it looks like there was some meat that came like that. But she didn’t really have an answer and I don’t blame her. She said it was not acceptable and said sorry. Very nice lady. As much as I liked thinking Jason’s deli was a healthier option, I will pass moving forward. That food was not right. I gave 2 stars because of the managers great customer service and her response to this. Other than that. It’s been fun Jason’s deli.

Always enjoy the food at Jason's Deli, but the reason this location is great is the staff. Manny (the manager here) is incredibly friendly, helpful, respectful, and generous. He should train every manager in their chain of sandwich shops. A+ in every way and it made enough of an impression that I left a review for a chain I've visited dozens of times in multiple cities. Give that man a raise.
