Or rather, this area of Hachirogata, which is a vast reclaimed land, is the only area that is developed, with the rest being rice fields. Next to the roadside station (although it takes about a 5-minute walk because the roadside station itself, including the parking lot, is very vast), there is a convenience store, and across the road, there is also a gas station, making it very convenient. There is also a 24-hour rest area and vending machine space, where you can eat light snacks you brought while sheltered from the rain and wind. In any case, the night was dark and very quiet, so I was able to spend the night comfortably in my car.
"I bought the unique dish of Shottsuru Yakisoba. It was easy to take a walk with my dog and very nice. I parked on the right side where there was space available. There was a restroom sign, but it was only on the far left. It was a sign to guide you there."
I was not a fan of eating smelly offal hot pot, but I was pleasantly surprised to discover that delicious food is indeed delicious. The kimchi and shichimi are also a great match. The seasoning of the tongue is refreshing yet full of flavor. The portion size may be small, but the intense flavor and decent volume make me want at least 3 bowls of rice. The rice is delicious too, since it's from Akita. It's inevitable to gain weight with food this good.
