Excellent service! First time travelling to Haida Gwaii with my girlfriends and was craving Asian cuisine. We ordered the hot sour soup and beef broccoli dish to share. Vegetables were fresh and meat was juicy and tasty. Especially loved the salt pepper prawns! Have to say that the food was delicious and owner was super friendly and even recommended places to explore on the island and things to do. Will definitely visit again!
Food here was excellent. Had the chow mein; fried rice; dried boneless; ginger beef; prawns; chicken balls. Staff friendly. Inside rustic.
The staff are personable and welcoming and the chef is accommodating we have ordered Chinese dishes 'off ' the menu, and he has also made us things without MSG by request. The spring rolls were freshly fried and tasty, and we enjoyed the Sambal eggplant (pungent, spicy, Malaysian style with chiles). We also enjoyed some dry fried salt pepper prawns. They seem to be expanding the menu to include some dishes with South Asian influence. The prices are high (to be expected for Haida Gwaii) but the dishes are large.
New owner, new menu, great quantity for the price. Chinese and Western assorted food available. We order a dinner for 4 and walk away with a bag of leftovers that is enough for the next days lunch.
