They only have ONE bathroom, for women, and men, which is crazy to me. In the bathroom, the trash was over flowing and the floor was dirty. Now to the food.... It was delicious, fresh and very tasty. We had the fried green tomatoes, the crust on those were awesome. I had the gravy and biscuit with country fried steak and a tomato. Biscuit was so soft and warm, steak that could be cut with my fork so tender. My fried had a ham biscuit and a bowl of gouda cheese grits which he enjoyed and we shared a cheese hashbrowns which were crispy on outside and soft on the inside. Really good just a tad bit salty. I do not think I would go back even though the food was good. My time is valuable and over an hour wait time to me is not respecting your customers time and this wait time seems normal.
It 's being 4y at least going there, but was holding to make a bad review, all staff are nice except 1person Lauren , seriously. If she is somewhat owner or relative she needs urgently an entrepreneur common sense skills, if she is an employee, someone gotta put her on the place. Happened 4four times with me, she is rude at reception just simple fact on getting PPL number, she always exaggerate wrongly the amount of time to wait, once was 12pm and she was really firm on how they close 1:30pm and will not seat anyone at1pm , what ?! now they close at 2pm (or she twisted before) not sure she always has something negative to say, is like we are not welcome by her. Today we were 2PPL, I went to get my name in it, she mentioned 1h wait or even more might be 1:30min honestly we went hike Little Mulberry to not wast time and use this1h -we used to go on market, do something around- of course after 30min. I receive text table was ready; it keeps on the list if accept, postpone automatically. I Arrive happy to give my name and comes Lauren again I cancelled your table what?! I told her she won 't be pessimist with me again, I was really hungry and needed to eat.; then her amazing education : YOU DONT NEED TO EAT HERE whattttttt?!!! Dear, do you know that your food is amazing, but we customers make your day and your pay. Please someone put her on the right place !!! *also hate fact 1bathroom only rest gets all My compliments !!! Ps: I love chicken waffles!
The Quest to discover the perfect brunch spot continues. Thie weekend we went to the Brunch Apothecary and it did not disappoint. The wait time for a table was reasonable, the service was top notch, and the coffee was piping hot. I ordered the brunch casserole with fried porkchop and it was delicious. I was as happy as a dead pig in the sunshine. The casserole was eggy and filled green veggies and sausage. The pork chop was fried to perfection though the crust was a little too thick for my taste. The arugula and onion salad on top was the perfect compliment and added some lightness to the dish. Very happy indeed. On another note our server, Brianna, was also great. Attentive, prompt, and friendly. She helped make our brunch great. Definitely stop by if you like biscuits and southern food.
This morning, my husband and I had such a fantastic dining experience! Our waitress, Isabel (I hope I'm spelling that right), was incredibly attentive and professional. She made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our time there. The food was absolutely amazing! We savored every bite and even took some dessert to go. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. It's very baby and kid-friendly, and the food is incredibly delicious. I had the steak and eggs, my husband had the churro waffles and chicken, and my little one enjoyed the chicken tenders with potato wedges. It was all so delicious! Oh the biscuits are delicious, warm, and recently baked! You got to try one! The portions are quite generous, so you might want to come with a big appetite or just take some to go. (I ended up taking some to go! Lol) If there happens to be a bit of a wait when you get there, I HIGHLY suggest waiting because I promise it's absolutely worth it!
I can see why people rave about this place! 4 of us went for breakfast on a weekend morning. The wait time was not unreasonable, parking was as expected (sometimes you have to walk a bit), our server was very attentive, asked whether or not we had any questions regarding the menu, and thoroughly answered our questions. The fried chicken was extremely juicy, the grits were creamy and flavorful, the waffles were fluffy, and all the dishes were hot and fresh!! The portion sizes were amazing ? I only have 2 minor suggestions, offer more coffee options and real maple syrup for the waffles.
