This is a quaint , quiet special place. Our first visit but not our last. We attended a wedding The venue is perfect. Hospitality galore I’m not sure who catered the reception but the food was delicious. Views from the lake on a clear October night. Perfect
Beautiful location, very nice rooms, excellent hospitality! Our wedding party stayed here for my son’s wedding for 3-4 nights- had all 3 suites reserved plus other rooms so very comfortable! My niece came from Australia, others from IL, TX, Ohio, FL, CA, TN and AL.We had Amanda Hoffman cater the rehearsal dinner and Sunday brunch at Creekside- wonderful accommodations and Amanda was fantastic!! Cookout with ribeyes and even had a birthday cake for my brother on Sun— she was wonderful and it was so easy!Definitely would highly recommend!!
The Creekside Lodge provides the perfect location for exploring Lake Martin. We stayed in a two bedroom suite with a large kitchen, 3 bathrooms, and the master had a private balcony. I 'm giving the Creekside Lodge 3 stars because the cleanliness was subpar. The rooms were super dusty so my allergies were triggered. The bed comforter had dried blood on it which was disgusting. When I went and requested a new blanket, they essentially had none to provide which blew my mind. Hotels should be fully stocked to accommodate basic guest needs, especially for a room costing $250 a night. I think cleaning protocols need to be adjusted for sure. I would also recommend stocking the kitchen with basic necessities like a sponge, dishwasher detergent, and maybe a roll of paper towels. The continental breakfast was disappointing. Providing pop tarts, instant oatmeal, and some packaged muffins is not a breakfast.
One of the best kept secrets on Lake Martin! Our favorite place to stay!
